I Stopped Taking Adipex Diet Pills and Here’s Why
Are you having a lot of trouble slimming down? Trust me, I know what that is like. I struggled for a long time with weight loss. No matter what I tried, nothing seemed to work, and the number on the scale just kept going up. I didn’t understand why other people could lose weight, but I seemed incapable of doing it myself.
After I saw my doctor about my weight struggles, I was shocked to learn that I was actually considered obese. This meant that I qualified for a prescription diet pill, so my doctor prescribed Adipex pills that I could take in order to slim down more easily. I was told that I would need to follow a low-calorie diet, along with a consistent exercise routine, but that Adipex would help me, at least for the short term, as I worked on reaching my target weight.
I was thrilled to find out that there was a product that could support me on my weight loss journey and maybe help me finally get the results that I was after. Unfortunately, I had positive and negative experiences while taking Adipex, and I discuss them below.
What I Liked About Adipex
One thing I noticed right away once I started taking Adipex was that this product really does suppress your appetite. I was pleased to see that the pills work when it comes to helping you eat less throughout the day. While I would normally snack in between meals, I no longer felt the need to. And, even though I used to eat larger portions at dinner, Adipex helped me keep my portions under control too.
This was great because I had always had a hard time cutting back on calories. But, since I didn’t feel hungry, I didn’t feel like I was being deprived. Instead, I just ate less.
What Caused Me to Stop Taking Adipex
The problem with Adipex is that it is a prescription that can cause side effects. Not everyone will experience those side effects, but I did, unfortunately. And, I had a lot of different side effects all at once, so it was quite scary.
The side effects that I experienced while taking Adipex were digestive issues, along with chest pain and palpitations. Basically, my heart felt like it was pounding in my chest, and I felt like I had consumed way too much coffee. I also experienced stomach pain and diarrhea. Totally uncomfortable!
What I Did Instead
When I called my doctor to tell her about the side effects that I was experiencing, she told me that Adipex is clearly not the right product for me. But, I told her I didn’t want to risk side effects with another prescription diet pill, so I talked to her about taking FENFAST 375, which I had discovered online. I purchased it over the counter and started taking it as directed. So far, I’m thrilled with the energy and focus that it’s giving me to support me on my journey. These pills are making it easier to eat right and exercise, and I can already see the results.
